Mixing isn’t about perfection.
It’s about emotion.

You made the song.

Let's make the record.

Mixing and mastering for independent artists who care deeply about their music.

Thoughtful, collaborative mixing that honours the character, detail and emotion already there.

01 - WORK

Real songs.

Real people.

Real results.

No two artists are trying to make the same record. Some songs need room to breathe. Others need grit, weight or a little more energy. It's all about serving the song.

02 — APPROACH

The details matter.
So does the feeling.

The details matter.
So does the feeling.

By the time a song reaches the mixing stage, there's usually a lot of thought behind it.

The arrangement, the performances, the sounds you've chosen and the little details that make the song.

My job is to bring those things together. To make space for the important parts, find the balance between clarity and character, and make sure the technical decisions serve the music…

…not to impose a sound

on your record.

02 — PROCESS

From rough mix to finished record.

A stress-free, colloborative process designed to serve the song.

01

UNDERSTAND

First we talk about the music. The references, the details that matter and the feeling you want the listener to take away. I want to understand your vision before I make a single move.

02

SHAPE

Then I get to work. I'll bring a fresh perspective to the mix, making decisions that bring the performances together, serve the character of the song and highlight the emotion you've put into it.

03

REFINE

We listen, discuss and make adjustments. You know your music better than anyone, and your perspective matters. We'll keep refining the mix until we're happy we've got it right.

04

RELEASE

We make the final refinements, prepare your finished files and get everything ready for release.

That's the aim: a record that sounds like you, ready to be heard.

03 — ABOUT

Hi, I'm Eliott.

I've been making music since before I could spell properly (I still can't spell). These days, I spend most of my time mixing and mastering records for artists who've poured a whole lot of themselves into their music.

I love the technical side of what I do, but what really gets me is that moment when everything comes together. When the mix stops sounding like a collection of tracks and starts feeling like the record.

I'm not here to stamp my sound on your music or convince you that everything needs fixing. I want to understand what you're going for, bring some fresh ears to the table and help you get the record where you want it to be.

MY MIXING PHILOSPHY

1. Serve the song, not your ego.

2. Emotion over trends.

3. Less is often more.

4. The artist is always right.

5. All that matters is what comes out the speakers.

04 — KIND WORDS

Notes from the people who made the records.

A few messages that mean a lot to me.

Whether you're finishing an album, preparing your next single or looking for someone to work with on your next chapter, let's talk.
